A workshop on “Implementing the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage at National Level” to be held on 5-9 February in Dnipro, Ukraine
In implementation of the work plan for 2017, the Regional ICH Center in Sofia, along with the Development Centre “Democracy through Culture” (Kyiv) and the Department of Culture, National Minorities and Religions of the Dnipropetrovsk region State Administration, will held a workshop at national level on the topic of “Implementation of the UNESCO Convention 2003 for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage”.
This training workshop on capacity building, designed specifically for national experts, will take place in Dnipro, Ukraine and will last for five days. There will be a discussion on the basic aspects of the implementation of the UNESCO Convention 2003 at national level along with other UNESCO Conventions (1972 and 2005). In the program will be discussed particular issues based on the local experience.
