On 18th November 2015 the winners in the Youth Competition “Meet and share the living heritage of Bulgaria” for students from the Bulgarian schools over 15 years and students from the Bulgarian universities were selected. The Regional Centre organized the competition under the sign of UNESCO 70th anniversary.
Three first prizes for most successful projects are awarded – one for each of the three Bulgarian elements in the Representative list of UNESCO for intangible cultural heritage. Due to the great interest to the element listed in 2014 – the tradition of carpet-making in Chiprovtsi and a large number of derived works, the commission awarded two prizes for this element.
The winners are:
FIRST AWARD: 1. Angelina Dobreva Anguelova, 17 years, Vocational Tourism High School “Dr. Vasil Beron”(city of Veliko Tarnovo), video for the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi;
2. Dimitar Biserov Radoslavov, 15 years, High School “St. Climent Ochridski” (city of Montana), multimedia presentation of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi;
SECOND AWARD: Borislav Dimitrov, 29 years, University of National and World Economy, development of Bistritsa babi;
THIRD AWARD: Ivan Dogazanov, 17 years, Vocational High school for Construction and Geodesy-city of Pazardzhik, card for Nestinarstvo;

Betina Dimitrova, Tsvetelin Todorov, Hristina Petrova, Hristo Hristov, Ivan Orehov, Kalina Borisova,Sergei Antonov from High School “Emiliyan Stanev”- profile “Arts”( city of Veliko Tarnovo) with project for cards of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi, to Anna-Maria Radeva and Vladimira Petkova from High school “ Geo Milev” (city of Varna) for musical presentation of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi, to Boris Petrov from the High school for Foreign languages “Petar Bogdan” (city of Montana) with poster of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi, Estel Savova from the High school for Foreign languages “Petar Bogdan” (city of Montana) with poster of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi, Lidiya Ivkova from the High school for Foreign languages “Petar Bogdan” (city of Montana) with poster of the tradition of the carpet-making of Chiprovtsi and to Petar Chilov from Vocational High school for Construction and Geodesy-city of Pazardzhik for a card for Nestinarstvo.
The award ceremony of the winners will be held in December 2015 in Sofia.
