#ShareYouthHeritage

The Regional Centre for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in South-Eastern Europe under the auspices of UNESCO launches an international youth competition called ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage: Next Generation’. The contest is aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years of age, nationals of the Member States within the scope of the Regional Centre. Its goal is to provoke interest and involvement of the younger generation in the safeguarding and transmission of the intangible cultural heritage. Co-organizers are the National Commission for UNESCO of the Republic of Bulgaria and L’Institut Français de Bulgarie.
The final deadline for applying is September 15, 2021. The jury will select the three winning entrants who will have the opportunity to tour the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.
The initiative marks the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of UNESCO (November 16, 1945) and 65 years since Bulgaria’s accession to it.
